As for the convention, it will probably still go 
on because it's a ways away. I think some of you 
folks are underestimating the spirit of the tri-
state area. It's times like these that will prove 
to the world that New Yorkers are tough in times 
of trouble. So far, the people of the city have 
been handling the trauma the best they can. Some 
have even resumed their daily lives as of 
yesterday. Is this because they are heartless and 
unaffected? No way. But what kind of message 
would it send the world if a terrorist attack 
like this could stop the nation's largest city 
from functioning? So please no more "sucks to be 
in NY" messages, it's not helping. Encouragement 
and support is all that's needed. Thanks to those 
who are volunteering to help.
