These aren't fan cels created from screen caps. 
They were created from the original sketches 
which is why the lines are perfect, matching even 
the areas outside of what is shown in screen caps 
from the OVA.  

The vast majority of the AMG OVA "repro" cels 
were released by AIC at a con quite a few years 
back at low prices. Reliable sources tell me that 
many were created by cel painters who were 
interviewing for jobs at the time, although cel 
rejects were probably included too.

That's why the lines are always perfect, but the 
painting is not. If most were interview cels, it 
would also explain why the same cel tends to be 
copied so many times. Where I find one repro, I 
often find multiple ones. 

Although some of the cels that were distributed 
at the con were probably rejects during 
production, AIC would not be in business long if 
they had to paint most of their cels several 
times to yield one production one.
