In Animerica there was an interview with the 
creator of the Diry Pair who said they were only 
given 6 000 cels per episode, which he said was 
low for a television show. He went on to say that 
Escaflowne had 25 000 cels per episode -- which 
is higher than usual and something the director 
of that series complained about.
