Specific groups were targeted, not the 
impoverished peoples. We care about them, and are 
administering aid, as we did even before. We are 
flushing a bad regime out of their land so it can 
be theirs again. DO you know much about the 
Taliban? They treat women like dogshit, and force 
young men to join their army or die. Certainly you 
don't think we should just leave them in power to 
continue to abuse the Afghanis?

It will prevent further loss of american lives by 
breaking up the groups and destroying the 
infrastructure of them so they are not armed to 
properly attack again. If we do nothing, they can 
flourish and grow.
