Quoting you:
1) From the time payment is received, what
should be the maximum amount of time that passes
before you mail the cel(s) or at least send a
courtesy email explaining there will be a delay?
Replying:
When the payment is received, the seller should let
you know via email when they intend to mail out
your cel. I think it's very poor business practice
for a seller not to let you know that they at least
got your money; doesn't matter how time consuming
it is. A lot of sellers are just after "easy
money" and don't want to bother with a little extra
work. Also, the seller should at least attempt a
once a week postal trip, since you supposidly
mailed out your payment on time.
Quoting you:2) What do you feel about someone who
lists some
slight defects, but doesn't mention a more major
defect...doesn't directly lie about it, but
withholds any information on it?
Replying:
Like how bad a defect? If there is a nice chunk of
paint missing, or the cel is stuck to something,
that is major, but if there is a tiny speck of
paint missing and there is an extra cel layer
present, that is minor. Please be more specific;
what is wrong with your cel?
Quoting you:
3) Does the fact that a person posts here on
occasion make you more or less tolerant when
things go awry in transactions?
Replying:
Who cares who posts here! Reputation is important,
but a person with a good reputation shouldn't use
that as an excuse to be careless and take advantage
of people.
