Fwee! Perhaps Santa's going to be really, really
good to them this year. ;o)
Not much in the way of sparkling bits of wisdom,
except that however they pay, make sure that it
really does clear before you ship off.
There are two valid explanations... one, that
they're an honest user who has only been a member
for about two weeks, and is making up for lost
time, backed by a healthy bank account; or two,
that the user-- whether it's a unique ID or one
of many-- is behaving themselves for a little
bit, and then going to try and see what they can
get away with. Either way, though, since their
habits don't seem to be the norm, you're
perfectly right to be a little extra-careful.
That's not to say go ahead and cancel their bid
because of unfounded suspicions... but just keep
your eyes open to protect yourself. If you have a
pay-by date, stick to it, and so on. Keep up good
communication with the individual, and keep the
tone normal and friendly.
But either way, it's your right as a seller to
try and be careful and protect yourself, and part
of that is by noticing little things which don't
seem normal. And racking up more wins in two
weeks than some of us have done in three years
*cough cough* ;oP might trigger a warning bell in
some minds. *g*
Good luck!
