I work, and so does hubby. If we weren't both in
school, we'd have a larger bit of disposable
income, but I try to be good and stay true to my
budgeted mad money. It's to keep ourselves from
going completely crazy. :o) Some birthday money
has helped me be a little more self-indulgent at
the moment.
But because of the general state-of-things, I
have to pass up on many cels I'd like to buy. As
much as I'd love to have five celbooks' worth of
Tasuki or Hiei, I don't have any of either...
because I can't afford it. Heck, I can't even
afford a celbook; since my spare $$ goes to cels,
I don't have an extra $20-$25 to buy them a book.
So they sit in a box on a shelf.
But of course, that may change. Hopefully, hubby
will get through law school intact, and I won't
go psycho trying to get my MLS and conservator's
degrees. And then, perhaps, I'll be able to have
the kind of cel gallery that looks like a cel
distro, and I'll be able to dedicate multiple
volumes of celbooks to my favorite eye-candy.
*smile*
But for right now, my collection is growing,
little bit by little bit, and I'm trying to take
care to live within my means. How fun would it be
to have five celbooks' worth of Tasuki if I had
to eat nothing but tuna fish and ramen for half a
year? O_o Priorities are important!
