My Survival guide to cel collecting...part 1 (Sun Nov 4 08:37:32 2001 )

There are things that does help so that the hobby
doesn't eat one alive. A lot of things are SO
taken the wrong way and well, it then becomes
personal and out of hand. If I say just a bit of
something personal into my post, or something I'm
afraid someone will have a problem with it and
Mr. "Blanky = __" will be crude and harsh and say
something like what has been done already. We
don't know the people we hurt here a lot of the
times. I can't wait to meet other cel collectors.
Have seen Marcus and Melissa who in person are so
sweet and nice and very friendly! Melissa has
some of the BEST costumes, among her beautiful
cels! ^_^ God, and they have been cel helpfull!
It's so much easier to explain things in person-
so my belief things get off course with rude
comments. Steph never intended to whine, just is
tired and wants a rest from all this chaos at
times and this hobby IS bad on the budget. One of
my highlights in cel collecting is meeting nice
cel collectors and dealers. Cel collectors ARE
some of the nicest people out there! Yes, and
YEs, the dealers are even more nicer! I admire
the dealers-can't help it admiring people who
have made some of us happy and done a lot of work
and struggle it seems. I just am stating dealers
are good at what they do best and are a good
people in person. Steph's decision is his, not
anyone else's and he chose to do so, and is
selling his cels with a reason he told us why.
Why should he get "yelled at" on his God-given
free choice to not collect cels anymore and post
within the rules? Sorry, just it's sick to get on
his case and we don't need any more mean people
in the world doing this to others when all he
wanted to do was sell his cels. Let him keep his
right because it's not harming anyone. Blanky,
(sorry, too much Robin Hood men in tights
tonight!:) acts like Steph stabbed them in the
back or stole his cels or something! Most posts
like that seem that way. I commend Steph on his
bravery in giving up the ghost. It's harder to
quit collecting cels than keep going sometimes,
so good journey Steph! ^.^ We need to help one
another achieve what we want in our cel hobby. I
can't wait to meet some of you in person next
year at a convention or something, stumbling over
people to get to the cels. lol. I'm just
defending Steph a bit because he didn't do
anything wrong to get that-let him sell his cels
in peace dudes! *gives peace sign* Now, let's get
back to loving our sleepless hobby. @@
