Jason of Outlaw Star Cel Station and my self are 
a good example of this. Jason and I each run 
websites dedicated mainly to OLS cels. I don't 
think that I have ever been in competition with 
him at all, nor he with me. In fact, at one point 
I admired a cel of his and congratulated him on 
acquiring it. He wrote me back and offered to 
sell it to me for the price he paid for it! I 
declined, because it was his cel and he deserved 
to have it. Even people who collect the same 
series and ravenously as the two of us know when 
to back off and let the other get what he wants. 
I have been beaten in auctions by Jason several 
times, and vice versa. Hey, no skin off our 
backs. Recently, Jason mde screencaps for all of 
my cels. I am not saying this hobby isn't 
competitive and sometimes absolutely obsurd. But 
I also think that there is a greater potential to 
have a lot of fun and meet some really great 
people along the way. The deal is, because of his 
actions, if I ever chose to sell my collection 
Jason is the first one I would call. Anywho, that 
is my little rant for the day.
