True, when you post on a public forum you open 
yourself up for attack, but lately things seem to 
be getting out of hand. I think if anything the 
recent posts about Avery have brought that to 
light. That should have been a simple "Oh god 
Avery, that's horrible. I hope you feel better." 
Instead it turned into "My God!! She's bismirched 
the honor of Queen Debbye!!" I think Shawnna was 
more commenting on that attitude more than 
anything else. There DO seem to be some people on 
the forum who think a bit more highly of 
themselves than they have right to. And I didn't 
see anywhere in Shawnna's post a reference to 
a "secret gang". She simply said that there are 
some obvious lines in the sand. And before I get 
stomped on for this, I am not trying to step on 
toes here. It just seems that a lot of collectors 
DO act like they belong to some kind of special 
club that only people of "proper" breeding can be 
a part of. This IS supposed to be a friendly 
hobby for everyone. And maybe Shawnna and Avery 
aren't intentionally being singled out, but the 
fact of the matter is that they do seem to catch 
a lot more heat for things than other people do. 
Maybe this is because they are a lot more vocal, 
but it's still uncalled for. I thought the 
purpose of this forum was for cel collectors to 
get together and be among friends and exchange 
info, SUCH AS WHERE THEY CAN FIND A PARTICULAR 
CEL THEY WANT. The fact is, that when people post 
just such info, other people on the forum JUMP on 
them for it. I think that's what Shawnna's 
argument is about, not "why is everybody always 
picking on me", like you're making it out to be.
