A COUPLE OF QUESTION FOR YANN (Sun Jun 24 21:25:46 2001 )

Yann,
First, let me thank you for this forum. It's a
great source of info for myself and countless
other collectors. And since you're not making any
money off it or charging any fees, I'll be happy
to follow ANY rules you set down.

I must apologize since I posted a Taro question
which you deleted. I didn't see an answer to my
question on the Taro site, so I tried to post it
here. As you said yourself, it's a lot of work to
process all those orders and some people like to
take a LITTLE time off for weekends, so that's why
I didn't want to bother Stephen with a question
that I thought ANY other customer of Taro could
answer. But now that I know that's off-topic, it
won't happen again.

My main question is this: In a PERFECT world, what
would YOU like us to discuss on this forum? What
is it's purpose? We already know you don't want
to clutter things with posts about how services
work (YJ) or "who got what" posts. But what about
the other info questions, like posts about IPMO's,
packing standards, reliability of various dealers,
opinions on values of cels, care of cels, etc?
Which topics are okay and which are unwelcome? Is
there a posting FAQ somewhere? I'd SINCERELY like
to know what the purpose of the forum is, so that
I can respect your wishes. (For example: The
"show me your animal/bishy/surprised/naked/etc."
cel posts. Are those okay?)

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

My second question is more of a bug report. Every
now and then, a popup ad appears and obscures part
of the banner for the forum. My browser stalls
and won't continue to load any forum posts. Nor
will it do anything else. I have to shut it down
and restart. (The ad is for a local bank.) Is
this a known problem?

Thanks again, Yann.

JP
