Regarding the Escaflowne question:

I LOVED Escaflowne.  Still do. Great story, 
fabulous music...  and I just can't stand the 
huge pointy noses on the characters.  At least 
not to buy them to gaze at permanently :) 

It's not even the pointyness that's the worst 
problem, but the hugeosity of them.  Lord.  I 
kept expecting something to come roost on them.
