I recently got a cel that is taped to it’s 
background (the cel is not stuck) and I was 
wondering if most people just leave the tape on 
or if they try to take it off.

What are the risks of damaging the cel and or 
background by leaving the tape on and what are 
the risks by taking it off.

As a side not, at some point in time I will most 
likely get it framed.

Also, are there any recommended methods for 
removing tape from a cel and background?
