I got a cel last night that I had eagerly been 
anticipating from Anime Taro- an opening sequence 
cel of Tenchi from the Tenchi Muyo OVA! I 
couldn't believe my luck in obtaining such a 
thing. However, when I popped my tape in to find 
it in the opening credits- it was nowhere to be 
found! I finally found it in the Tenchi Universe 
Opening sequence. 
I'm happy to have an Opening cel from Universe, 
and I still like this image of Tenchi, but I'm 
also disappointed. I really wanted an OVA cel, 
not Universe. And Anime Taro had this up as an 
Opening cel from the OVA. (I would have waited 
and checked, if I could have, but you know how it 
goes, when you see a cel like this, you don't 
wait (and probably have someone else take it)- 
you buy it NOW!!!- And I knew it looked 
familiar...)
So- is this their error or mine? When I see "from 
the OVA" I think of the very first series ever 
done- I think of Universe as the first TV series, 
Shin Tenchi the 2nd TV series, and Pretty Sammy 
I'm not sure about- I've seen it stated as the 
2nd OVA. Could someone clear this up for me? Any 
opinions about this matter of mislabeled cels?
