If you love something, then any decent partner 
will at least try to understand and respect your 
feelings and not dismiss them entirely, even if 
your partner isn't interested in your hobby 
themselves.

Doesn't mean that your partner has to become a cel 
junkie, too.  ;-)  But I have had relationships 
with girls who are exact opposites of me, and 
while we may be into totally different things, we 
take delight in seeing how the other person enjoys 
them.
