Re: avoid DEPUTY SERVICE! (Sat Oct 7 10:50:51 2000 )

Well, I can't say I agree with you.

"-they don't keep track of the items you
tellem to bid on for you, so i u get outbid they
won't tell u, some ppl say you should be
responsible for keeping track, but disagree
afterall you are PAYING THEM TO PROVIDE YOU WITH
SERVICE , right?"

Hmm... well I know a LOT of people use this
service. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for poor Sato to
watch over EVERY auction. Especially when
leading bids change so quickly. Think about it:
could YOU monitor over a dozen auctions at a
time? AND answer every e-mail? AND go out to
ship out cels to the winner? AND eat sleep and
live? I think it should be your responsibility
to monitor your auctions, and if you are outbid
give fair notice to have him rebid. (like not in
the last hour of the auction)

"they don't contact you to warn
you that they won't be able to tke orders when
out , wouldn't you agree its reasonable to inform
cusstomers that they cannot place orders in
advance so they won't be disappointed to fnd out
oh, they couldn't take my order b/c they were
out!"

It's like I just said, he has to get the cels out
SOMETIME! That would require him to leave his
house, ne?

I have also noticed that if he is on vacation or
is away for an extended period of time, he WILL
post that on his website.

"DEPUTY SRRVICE NEEEDS ALOT OF WORK!"

I'm not saying it's a perfect system, but when it
does work out in your favor, the rewards are
great. ^_^
