I consider myself to be a newbie whenever I 
collect a series or quality level different from 
whatever I'm familiar with. 

Few seasoned collectors would simultaneously know 
price ranges and criteria for CCS Kero, FY TV 
watercolors, and UY hanken. The same applies to 
other facets: a veteran who frames all of their 
cels does not need to know how to store them in 
books. 

There's an old saying that goes something 
like, "Some cel collectors are veterans some of 
the time, some are veterans none of the time, but 
no one is a veteran all of the time." :)
