Well, there're always some new collectors never attend the
cel meetings before in either AX or Fanime Con, so some of
the old presentations will be still useful every single
year. As long as the meeting makes a schedule and tells
the people what time to do what event, then people can walk
in and out, and listen the presentations that are interested
to them. For example, let's say 9pm is the fake cel
presentation, 9:15pm is the genga/pre-production
presentation. If people don't want to listen the fake cel
presentation, they can come in later at 9:15pm to avoid it.
Q&A session is important, especially useful for someone who
is new in this hobby. But for old collectors, I guess Q&A
session may be boring. However, it would be extremely nice
if the gathering can invite some dealers or even the
Japanese guests participating in this Q&A session. This
will make it very interesting. For example, if the guests
like Kenji Goto or Akemi Takada answers some questions
about genga productions, that'll be great. Some of these
guests have been drawing these gengas for many years, if
they can show up, talk about it, answer some question, isn't
it great?
I will prefer Sunday rather than Friday. I imagine that'll
be a lot of events packed on Friday night. Plus Sunday will
give you guys more time to prepare the gathering better.
