I guess I will have to hold my final decision on the character
design until I see the nice, clean movie images.  But I don't
know...it just doesn't feel like the Escaflowne I've watched too
many times.  I guess I'm just too picky.

But if it's true that there are different bkgds to the characters, etc.,
it sounds like it really would be fun to watch.  But I don't think 
it'll ever be /really/ Escaflowne to me.

And is it just me, or does Van seem older?  Maybes it's too blury to
tell for certain.  I have to agree that the way Van 'fits'
into Escaflowne is a bit...well...new...
