I'm sorry but isn't this a little personal between you and
your family?
I feel bad that it has caused such turmoil for you, that really sucks :/
This is just a hobby though. No reason to fight with your
relatives over it. You know, I am 16, my mom has always let
me have my hobbies and understands that to a certain degree
hobbies give us character and make us who we are. But also,
we shouldn't let the hobbies control us and it is probably
a good idea to talk about it with your parents but you
shouldn't have to justify why you collect(unless they fully
support it).
Also, our parents may actually have some method to their
madness. I could buy alot of other stuff with what I spend
on cels. I just went on ebay yesterday and saw I could buy
an electric guitar for less then I spend on cels some months.
I have always wanted one so I think I may save up and try to
find a nice one (I wish I could post about guitar help on
the forum, I need it -_-. Help, anyone out there?).
I think we should try to look from our parent's point of
view. A guitar for example, actually DOES something and we
could use it for a long time. A cel is pretty and we look at
it. I'm sure that is what our parents are thinking, we all
know that cels are more then that but the general idea of
that thought is true. We shouldn't let cels be our only
hobby and even more so, we shouldn't let it get to a point
where others our questioning it's health.
It is funny you bring up AA, cause 2 of the more common
signs of addictions are "Freinds or love ones complaining
about your (addiction)" and "Taking offense when questioned
about (addiction goes here)". Scary, huh? =__=;
Just what I think
