It's not how much it costs, but how much you enjoy it afterwards!
I haven't had a chance to actually store any of my recent acquisitions properly, and I find myself pulling them out
of the protective cardboard sheath at least every other day.
Cue thoughts of 'yes, these are mine...' or 'I own a unique piece of an animantion I thoroughly enjoyed.'

I'd will still give the "normal" US collectors a pre-emptive boot to the head just on principle.  I'm sure there
was a point when even a college student could easily find and afford a cel from their show of choice...
The "fanboys" don't help matters much either.  Sure, I really like Sonoda's work, but I'm not going to dump tons
of cash into making sure I have every last item he's been
involved with producing...
That's just unhealthy.
I'm waiting for the big rush on CCS stuff....

Finally got my scanner, so I may be updating a few of the images in my gallery in the next couple of days.
Got another cel as well....
*note to self* remember to thank the friend who told me to watch ebay--a collector and his money parted soon after.
