I've considered that too, but I saw something on TV a while
back that was making the point that fire-proof and *heat*-proof
were not the same thing, and that things in fire-proof boxes
still got pretty hot...and I'm guessing it wouldn't take much
to melt a cel :(  but maybe they make more expensive, more
heat-proof boxes.  I've been absolutely horrible about putting all of 
this off!
