Eh, the "safest" place I keep my cels is in cel books
hanging in my closet. Seriously, though. . . They are
insured. I'm not exactly sure what my husband has worked
out, but a lot of our collectibles are insured for "cost of
replacement" (I don't know what it's really called). Try
going into the most recent archive. . . There was a big
discussion on this around (*thinking*) January?
But however you attempt to have your cels insured, the
single most important thing to have are in detail scans of
each cel (I mean a true-to-size scan) and scans of all it's
accompanying sketches/douga/genga/layouts/etc.
