Yeah, I'm with Sheri on this--it was probably a 
reserve, and that's all.  I was the only bidder 
on a cel a few weeks ago, but I had to bid twice--
24 hours before the auction ended my bid was 
wiped out 0_o;;;.  Fortunately my high bid WAS 
the reserve price, otherwise I'd have been out a 
really nifty cel.  Oh well.

The thing about reserves is that it's hard 
sometimes to see when an auction's got one--it's 
not as obvious as on ebay.
