It's pathetic that they won't offer these series 
to us as the series were meant to be seen. It's a 
bunch of network execs who don't want to bother 
coming up with something new, so they take 
something that's already there and slice it up to 
fit their needs with no concern for the asthetics 
of the thing. Personally, I think it borders on 
copyright violation and I would happily make it 
illegal. I really wish the Japanese studios would 
wake up. . . The popularity of anime will go 
straight into the toilet when all that 95% of 
adults in this country see is a hack job. Becuase 
trust me. . . At least 95% of the people seeing 
this thing will have no idea that it has been 
butchered and less than half the people who know 
it has been butchered will any idea of the extent.

But I have one thing to ask. . . I just saw the 
first Kenshin VHS releases and I was considering 
picking them up. Are the VHS/DVD releases going 
to be the real thing or are they going to be a 
cheap hack job? If it's the latter, I'll happily 
let them sit on the shelf. -_-

Some Kenshin fan who's seen the tape please let 
me know. . . I was going to get them during the 
next discount weekend at my local video store, 
and that's coming up fast.
