Hi all! :)
I had a quick question:
What is the best way to keep layers of a multi-cel
setup separate from not sticking together?
I have some archival quality plastic cel bags I
was think of cutting up and using to fit between
each layer, but I'm wondering if this is the most
efficient and safe way?
I do have rice paper, but I'd like to be able to
see the layers of the cels. :)
Just a note of information as well. I've found a
pretty effective way of cleaning fingerprints and
dirt from cels:
Kodak Photo Lens cleaner and lens cleaning tissue.
(rice paper works just as well)!
The combination above are used for cleaning camera
lenses. Photo lens cleaner is not abrasive and
doesn't scratch glass or plastic like Windex will.
Also, rice paper is non-static and won't attract
dust or lint while using it.
I used it as sparingly as possible and it worked
fine.
You can find both at a camera store. The cleaner
runs about $5 and rice paper you can buy at any
good art store.
Thanks!
Deb :)
