Thank you for enlightening us. This whole background issue is complicated. As long as you have told the buyer of
the situation, you have done the best you can. I think Yann's creations are hilarious, especially Urd and the
horse. I don't think it was insulting, he was just having fun. Ultimately, in the cel market, it is buyer beware. It does not
seem too difficult for fake cels to be painted or backgrounds to be switched. As buyers, we have to rely on the cel
dealers' sense of honor to protect us from possible fraud, but even they are not God, therefore are not infallible.
If a cel dealer is willing to accept the responsibility of a mistake made, there is no loss of honor and integrity. |
