I had some cels sent to me from overseas, in a regular envelope with a thin piece of cardboard, with "Do Not Bend" stamped on it in about 4 places. The mailman doubled up the envelope and shoved it in the mailbox. I took it to the postoffice and showed the postmaster. I had the reciept from the money order (which I had bought there) and they reimbursed me for the cels. I opened the package, and the cels were okay! So, the moral of the story is, Cels can actually be pretty resilliant, but if you do get a bent package, as others have said, TAKE IT TO THE POST OFFICE AND OPEN IT IN FRONT OF THE POSTMASTER. I have always had good luck with cels arriving in cardboard boxes or padded envelopes...and who doesn't love popping those bubbles later? ;) Also, when shipping things I insure them. |
