All my cels have been shipped to me (I'm not blessed with dealers in the area) and most people who know what they're doing ship the cels in USPS's largest box, unopened out (so that it is still flat) and inside the cel is secured between two pieces of cardboard larger than the cel. I have never had a cel damaged by being shipped this way. But here's a laugh for you all. . . I had one person mail a cel to me in *styrofoam peanuts* with nothing between the peanuts and the cel. The cel wasn't damaged, but it took me hours to pick off all the peanut pieces (imagine the static equivalent of iron filings on a magnet). So needless to say, I've learned the hard way to always ask sellers how the cel will be packaged. :) Many Sharp Smiles, --Drac |
