Started two years ago, when I bought a bunch of cels from
Animanga in Jan 1998. I wanted an affordable "passion".
I like art, but don't like prints. Original art is too expensive.
Original american animation art is also too expensive. I
remember being fascinated by the cover of the sketch pad
my father bought me 35 years ago from Japan. It had the
big sparkly eyed Japanese interpretation of the Swan Lake
swan queen (Odile or Odette?) on the cover. Never saw
anything from Disney to compete with that... |
