Just a quick correction ^^;
OVA means "Original Video Animation" meaning only released on video.
The Dragonball "OVAs" you are referring to, were actually released
in theatres in Japan. That makes them movies.
There were 4 in DB, 13 in DBZ, and I think 1 in GT (anniversery movie).
There was in fact 1 Dragonball Z ova put out by Pladia but I think
it was only a one shot thing.
Just thought I'd clear that up :)
