My answer is this:
Most of my cels are very close to what I paid. However,
I do not like selling my cels (as I doubt any collector
does), and I am less willing to sell cels of one of my
favorite characters (my favorites are Chu Chu and
Saionji). If it does not sell, then fine, I keep the cel
and remain happy. Yes, I did buy two cels from the same
sequence, but they were uploaded at different times and
I did not know the one with the bowl (which I like more,
since it is multi-layer) would come along. I take offense
at your "middleman trying to make a quick buck" off of
purchases as well... I did not buy a single cel in my
collection with the intention of reselling. At this point,
I have to fight with myself to sell a cel in order to
afford one I want more (as I am a full-time college student,
even though I also work full-time, I do have limited
funds after tuition and books).
ALSO... you know, if you'd written me through email, instead
of insulting me on the forum, and mentioned that you wanted
this cel at a lower price, I would've ended the auction
early and sold it to you at a lower price. I don't think
I've ever been too hard to deal with in any sale, and all
it takes is a little communication. I adore this
character, which is why I listed it at a higher price since
I really didn't want to sell it anyway, but I would've been
willing to work something out.
