Well, I broke down recently and ordered my first cel (an Utena cel) from Anime Taro.  Prior to placing the order, I pulled out my Utena Vol. 8 LD and found where the cel was used (I seem to always do this before thinking about buying a cel--anyone else?).  Since I'd watched episode 29 of Utena about a dozen times in order to subtitle it, it took me about five seconds to find the cel in question.  Not only was the cel the only cel used for the scene (it's a still image of Utena that stays on the screen for about eight seconds), it was also pictured on the insert that came with the LD!  So, I really had no choice but to order it, even though what I'd really been looking for were Megazone 23 Part 1 or Iczer-One cels (I think Yann buys up most of these ;).  One thing I've learned, though, from observing various cel collectors, is that you're much more likely to get a cel you want if you have a decent cel to trade.  :)

Now I too have to hope Anime Taro will grant me a little leniency, since I've spent the past three days digging myself out of a snowstorm that prevented me from getting to the post office.  Does anyone know if Taro requires payment to be *sent by* or *received within* seven days?  If it's the former, I should make it.  :)
