I ask them for either airmail or EMS, with a preference towards EMS, because not all post offices have the EMS services. Usually they have no clue what I'm talking about ^^; until they either drop by the post office themselves or look through the Japanese Postal Office homepage like I do, because they have a tidy chart of the cities and prefectures with postal offices that allow EMS and airmail etc., as well as a grid of postages for all their international services. The You-Net address is here: http://www.postal.mpt.go.jp/ Though their postal rates page seems to be a little kooky because someone put an ./td> instead of a | =/
http://www.postal.mpt.go.jp/ryokin/ems.htm (EMS rates)
http://www.postal.mpt.go.jp/ryokin/tujo2.htm (airmail rates)
http://www.postal.mpt.go.jp/jikan/index.htm
This link shows the locations with EMS service (after
inputting their location) Technically it shows the open
window times, but it has nice end-notes ^^;
Jey.
