just some additional comments--
1. In the U.S., you could pretty much sue
anyone for anything. To sue, you just have
to pay the filing fee, fill out some forms,
and state who you're suing, for what, and
why.
2. the more interesting question is enforcing
the judgment. Let's say you get a judgment
for $100,000. Do you think the defendant would
have the cash for you to collect? And if
the person is located in a foreign country,
it's unlikely you will be able to collect w/o
spending major $$$.
