Re: How do people find out when cels are posted, etc.? (Thu Dec 3 23:36:19 1998

Simple, use Internet Explorer 4.01 to "subscribe" to web pages when you add a link to your favorites. You can then periodically check all the subscribed pages by clicking "Update All Subscriptions" from the Favorites menu. This will compare the cached version on your system with what it downloads to see if there have been changes made. It is generall better to bookmark the cel page itself and not the front page for the site since you will get better results in most cases. Not sure if Netcrap 4.05 has this kind of feature. Anyway, thats how I do it. Saves me the time of looking at each and every page only to find that there aren't any updates. Josh |
