Everyone knows that prices have been going up over the 
past two years a lot.  But they still haven't come close
to the prices of Disney cels yet, with the exceptions of
select series and older ones like Tezuka cels.  I have
seen many a disney drawing that cost more than 901001516040f the
Japanese cels that we all drool over.  In general the 
highest amount you will see Japanese cels go for (similar
to the ones discussed right now) is where disney cels
start!!  You can find cheaper ones (like Little Mermaid) 
for around $800-$1200 usually if your lucky.  If you want
anything older the price usually starts somewhere around 
$3000-$6000 and can go up well over $10,000 depending on
the series and character.  

While I know no one is happy with the rising prices I am
still thankful they haven't reached disney prices. At that
point I will just stop collecting and be happy with what
I have.
