You have a very confusing definition of fair. Would it be fair to 
post the cels at 3PM EST, which will mean that some people are 
at work and can't check the site, in other parts of the world 
some people are asleep?! Pocket is my favorite anime cel seller, 
partly from their quality cels, but primarily, I admit, because 
I feel they are very fair in the way that they sell them.
The lottery method is, in my mind anyway, extremely fair.
Is it fair to not allow some people access to the best cels 
because of their time zone or because they have a job? Fairness 
is about offering everyone equal opportunity. 
Mind you, I am not railing that "It is unfair for me not to get 
X cel that I wanted because I was asleep when it was posted!"
That is the way of it. Somtimes it makes me sad, but I accept it.
 I much prefer the lottery method where everyone 
who wants the cel has a fair and equal chance of getting it.
Pocket is very fast about saying "There is a lottery for the first two 
days of posting" and "Lottery is over!" within a couple of days. 
I wish other people would have a similar way of selling! ^_^
