I didn't got that feeling at all... but again, I didn't
understood what they said...

It's not the same people that worked on the OAV and TV.
There is more than 8 years between the two... So if the only
differance is that "her ears are slightly different and
the way they do the shading on her nose"... well, I
would say that they did a damn pretty good job... :)
