I saw to episode 16, and I have to say that the Lodoss TV
series is not as bad as some people said. Yes, the drawing
quality is average, but remember, this is a TV series
afterall, it has lesser budgets, so the studios don't want
the artists to spend too much time to draw more shadows.
If some of you don't want to shell out lots of money for
the OVA cels, these Lodoss TV cels are a good alternative
at cheaper prices, but the quality and drawing style
is indeed a grade down. The most impressive part of this
TV series is the intro, I don't mind to buy some cels from
this awesome intro.
About this TV series, one thing I don't like is the story
moves quite slowly. Some scenes from certain episodes
are pointless, just waste of time. Plus certain new
characters are kinda boring.
Anyway, Lodoss TV is still worth to watch (better to rent
than buy). Like I said, these TV quality cels are a
good alternative if you don't have the money and opportunity
to buy the OVA cels. |
