There is only one anime convention in Southern California.
Then there's the San Diego ComiCon which is a comic convention,
that with the dwindling interest in comic books has in the past 
couple of years been taken over by anime, sci-fi and fantasy.
Other than that there are no other related cons in the area.
There are a couple of small shows, though, such as the monthly 
comic book show at the Shrine Audotorium next to USC and the 
show they had at the the university in San Diego.  But these
are hardly conventions.  
I wish that there was an Anime Cel Convention maybe twice a year,
this way all the cel dealers can get together for one large cel
super-market!  It should be in a different part of the country (or
world) each time.  
Wish I could organize something like this. Is there someone out 
there that might be able to?
