Cels Forum

I think conventions are a nice place to find good cels, for 
many reasons.  One is that many dealers that do not have their
cels on-line (not only Anime Link (though it would be worth
going just for him ^^) but some of the anime stores which
don't specialize in cels but have a collection worth looking
through) often show up and bring a good portion of their stock
with them.  Second, the dealers that we know and love on-line 
often bring cels with them that they haven'tn put up on their
site yet, nothing like getting first crack, especially when
they might not put them up for a long time.  Third, it's just
so much fun to meet everyone in person.  Fourth, cel parties
look like they're becomming common, so you might be able to trade,
lets not forget that not all cel collectors keep galleries on-line
and the ones that do may not have their entire collection up
for show.  There are probably some other reasons, but I don't
remember them at the moment.  But I will say that I've gotten
some of my favorite cels as various conventions...
