This is strange. This is actually what I thought too, but the cel retailer that I
sorta dealt with has this EVA cel of Rei from the Evangelion opening for sale (I did not
see the image though), which is priced 4,x00 Japanese yen (man, I am afraid to reveal the exact price
because everyone seems so secret about it). On their advertisement in Animage magazine, they even
specified out that they carry Gainax cels for sell (although does not specify out that it's going
to be Evangelion cels...). If anyone want's to know which anime retailer that I dealt with, you can
email me at van0303@email.com, since I don't plan to buy any EVA cels anyway.
