Cels Forum

For me, I collect cels because I adore the characters. :) It's like 
actually OWNING the character and being able to be close to them, even if that 
is as ridiculous as it sounds!

Limiting yourself doesn't always work! I only collect Sailor Moon cels as of now - 
I've been fighting the urge to collect a couple more series. :o 
When I first started collecting, I bought everything cute I could afford. Now, I limit 
myself (pretty much) strictly to the characters on my wishlist. Unfortunately, this has 
had a slightly negative affect. Instead of buying 3 or 4 $20 cels, I may buy 2 for $150. 
I'm STILL paying more money than when I started! 

Besides, I think if anyone really wanted to stop collecting they'd have to totally fall out 
of love with the anime series and the characters, which I can't honestly imagine happening. There are 
so many *really, really good* anime series out there that it would be hard to not care about any of them!
