I know a little about web page coding, enough to do what 
Pocket has anyway, but I have no clue on how to go about
putting in a log-in password system.  From what I can see
Pocket is already very busy with whatever work he(she?)
does already.  We receive our cels months later as it is.

I'm not saying that what Pocket does is right, but I think
Pocket is probably not knowledgeable enough or too busy to
put in a log-in system.  By asking us to not give out the 
new URL, I think Pocket was putting a lot of trust in his 
customers.  

In any case, I think the choice is his to make.
We can like it or dislike it, but it is his choice. 
We don't have to buy from Pocket if we don't like his methods. :)
