I don't think that Steve was trying to be nasty on purpose.
He probably had to rush to leave Japan and since your payment
did not arrive in time, he had to get rid of the cel somehow.
I'm sure that his so called nasty letter was only expressing
his frustrations with having to cope with more late payments
than he wanted to.
