I see your problem. You might be able to
reverse check the status of your package by
using his name and address
and match the package using your shipping
address. It might be a long shot, but give it
a try. If there is anyone at any post office
that you know, they might be able to help you
with this. As the transaction is now heading
into 3 months it could qualify as mail fraud--
the fact that it is an international transaction
will not disqualify this fact--and that might
inspire someone--say the Post Master General of
that specific post office you will be dealing
with to help you. Take action
depending on what you feel is right.
You know this person,
consider all of your past dealings.
You have options. Use your judgement.
And people, kindly limit the "give him some slack"
replies--we all do. The fact that this lady has waited
this long to even ask for advise certainly proves that
she has.
Computer systems are setup so that everybody can track
everything, no matter what country you are in, dealing
with, or talking to. That's why everyone uses EMS for
these things. For once, thank the people at our nation's
capital for really streamlining these mail systems
especially in the past year.
No more: "the dog ate my homework" excuses please.
