I am curious about what to call this type of cel 
too.

I got a cel a few years ago that falls into the 
same category (as in, made by the animators in 
the studio, but not used in production/licensed 
material).  However, this one isn't hanken 
quality.

So would it just be called a studio cel in this 
case?
