HP ScanJet 5500, and financially, it's still
possible. It looks neat. My previous problems
with scanners were:
HP Precision Scan was too yellowish and too damn
slow (warm up 10 minutes before scanning).
CanoScan N670U seemed to have a 16-
color/posterize fetish.
HP Scanjet 4500C has a lamp so bright it'd scan
the back of a cardboard drawing, and you can
imagine the incorrectible color distortion...
