The real downside is that if your original MO 
turns up later on and is cashed, the PO will 
demand the money back from you!  I sent a MO to 
someone in NYC, it got lost, I replaced it, filed 
for my money back (and there is a little fee for 
filing the request, BTW), got it - and then 9 
months later, the original MO was cashed 
somewhere way upstate NY.  I requested a copy of 
it, got one - the signature was PRINTED, and it 
was cashed in some tiny little town. The PO said 
they have "no way" to know it had been reported 
lost 9 months before.  Uh, just why is all that 
scanning-in that gets done?
